We’re developing a bare metal continous integration system.
Not all applications can be virtualized. Especially microcontroller have so many unique hardware features (a.k.a. quirks) that you need to test on hardware in order to be sure it works.
Actual hardware
Run your code on actual hardware so that any bugs in the controller (which do exist) will be taken into consideration.
Specification
Specify which device or board you want. By managing hardware specification we can run your jobs concurrrently and only occupy hardware you actually need for a given test.
Be more productive
By testing immediately on target, you shorten the test-cycle to the absolute mininum and catch bugs early.
Development server
Devices connected to metal.ci will be available for debugging and other development means. Use them as CI workers by night and regular workstations during the day.
